Today’s card is a simple but elegant one. The lovely sentiment is from the So Very Much Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set, which you can select for free if you spend £45 on other products.
The card is 5 ¾” square, made from piece of thick Whisper White paper measuring 11 ½” x 5 ¾” and scored down the middle. The DSP is from the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper. If you follow my blog/Facebook page, you’ll see that this is a firm favourite of mine! I find it really versatile and so have used it on a lot of the cards I’ve made recently.
Cut a piece of the Designer Series paper to 5 ½” square and layer this onto the card front. Next, cut a 4” square piece of Whisper White cardstock and rub it all over with your embossing buddy. Stamp the Thank You sentiment from the So Very Much Sale-a-Bration stamp set in Versamark Ink and emboss it using Gold Embossing Powder. Layer this piece on top of a 4 ¼” piece of Gold Foil paper and stick this topper onto the centre of your card.
To complete the card, tie a bow in a piece of Burlap ribbon and attach a Falling in Love embellishment to the centre with a glue dot. Use another couple of glue dots to attach the bow to the card.
This card is easy enough to bulk make if you have a lot of Thank You cards to send, for example for Wedding gifts. If you mixed up the patterns from the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper, you could get 48 cards from one paper pack.
I’ve included a shopping list below in case you wish to buy any of the products used in this project.
