Handmade Cards Created by Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin' Retreat using Patterned Paper and Basic Shapes Dies
Hello Crafters! How are you? Do you have Basic Shapes or layering dies in your stash? If so, today I have a video for you! I decided to do a whole post full of 10 different cards you can create with Basic Shapes Dies, Patterned Paper, and very little else!! Don’t have the shapes I’ve used? No problem! A lot of these card designs will work with lots of different shapes, just use what you have! Also, there are so many ways that you can cut into basic shapes to make them really interesting. No fancy dies needed!
This video is the 6th in my paper pad use-up series where I’m creating cards to use a whole 12″x12″ paper pad! You can find the rest of the posts for the series HERE. Today’s cards are great for using up some of the scraps that you have left over from making other cards. Also, if you have some papers that you find harder to use than others, pop them on cards like this and hey presto! you’ve used up that paper and it’s not jumping out at you as the focus of a card. The best thing is that most patterned paper pads use complimentary colours and so pattern matching isn’t a problem, they’re all going to effortlessly go together without too much thought on your part.
Check out the video below for the tutorial for all 10 of these cards, then scroll further to find the supply list.
