Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I’m sharing some floral Christmas projects. I loved the Be Bold Blooms floral dies that Spellbinders came out with earlier in the year so much that I just had to buy the Holiday Blooms set which is similar but with Christmas florals! The set has a whole heap of dies in it that you can layer up to create the most gorgeous floral images. I’ve mostly focussed on the Poinsettia here, but there are more flowers and foliage included in the set (I’ve added links to the Holiday Blooms and Be Bold Blooms sets below so you can see for yourself!)
I chose a traditional colour palette for the flowers and foliage, but backed it in Navy Blue and added a glimmer of gold for a more modern twist. I made a couple of cards, but also added in an easy-to-create gift card envelope as well. A lot of us give gift cards or money at Christmas and I think it’s nice to make it more personal with something handmade.
Before I add the video tutorial for these cards, I just want to apologise to anyone who tried to access my website at the weekend! You probably found a very unexciting coffee template website!! I was trying to change host providers for my website and needless to say it was a little painful!! I’m hoping that it’s all sorted now, but that’s also the reason that I didn’t publish a new blog post over the weekend!!
But onto brighter things… if you’d like to see the video tutorial showing you how to create these projects with the Christmas florals, please check out the video below, or if you want to see the supply list, please scroll a little further to see that!
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to create it.
