Shaker and Aperture Cards created by Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin Retreat using the Two Red Robins Magazine Box Kit 2
Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I’m sharing 5 ideas for Christmas shaker and aperture cards. I think shakers and apertures are really fun additions for a handmade card that you don’t often get in the shops, so they’re a lovely surprise for the recipient. I’ve used mostly basic shape dies that most people have in their stash, but I’ve also fussy cut a couple of the apertures – you can create them with no dies at all!
I created these cards for the latest 2 Red Robins magazine box kit. If you’ve not seen these box kits before, they’re really reasonably priced kits with lots of elements to them, and then the magazine is choc full of ideas for what to do with it. And it’s a full size magazine too, not just a small leaflet! These are the cards I made for the magazine, but there are heaps of other projects from different designers with different styles so you won’t be short of inspiration!
Click the link below to see the video tutorial for all of these cards, then scroll to the bottom of the post to find links to the supplies you will need to create it!
