Handmade Cards created by Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin' Retreat with Fun Background Techniques using the Propagation Garden collection from Spellbinders
Hello Crafters! How are you? I have some really fun background techniques to share with you today! I love finding different ways to add interest to my cards, so I thought it would be nice to focus on cards with all kinds of different backgrounds. We have die-cut apertures, embossing folder techniques, fun wordy backgrounds and a die-cut background. Lots of fun ideas to try!
For today’s video I’ve used the awesome new Propagation Garden collection from Spellbinders. I love that it’s a nature collection, but it’s not full of florals (although you know I do LOVE a floral), so it’s really easy to create cards for everyone. I used the leaves with the glassware on most of today’s cards, but they work really well independently as well – why not fill the glassware with lots of different coloured potions for a friend who loves science or a spooky Halloween potion card?!
Check out the video below to see how to create this project yourself, then scroll to the bottom of the post to find links to the supplies you will need to create it!
