Hello crafters! How are you? With only just over 2 weeks left of Sale-a-Bration I want to share as many projects as possible using these beautiful free gifts before they’re gone, so today I’m sharing 5 cards that I’ve created with the Beautifully Penned DSP. These are black and white papers that coordinate with the Hand-Penned suite from the Annual catalogue, but I’ve used them in a way in which you don’t have to have that suite to create these cards (you would just need some separate sentiment stamps). I’ve used some of the papers as they come, and have shown a couple of ways to add colour to them to create different looks too.
In case you’re new to my blog, Sale-a-Bration is a fantastic promotion, where for every £45 you spend in the Stampin’ Up! online store you can choose from a selection of free gifts. This Beautifully Penned paper is one of the selection you can choose from; you get 12 sheets (4 each of 3 double-sided designs) of 12″ x 12″ patterned paper completely free!
Beautifully Penned 12″ X 12″ (30.5 X 30.5 Cm) Designer Series Paper [156630] £0.00
For one of the cards I decided to use a card sketch. The one that I chose was from Freshly Made Sketches. If you’ve not used a sketch before, it’s a layout idea that you can use to create your card, so a great idea if you’re lacking mojo or new to cardmaking. I’ll pop the sketch below, and then a pic of the card I created using it.
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
