5 Ways to Stretch Your Stamps With Easy Rainbow Cards created by Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin' Retreat using the stamp set from Creative Stamping Magazine 147
Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I’m showing you some ways to stretch your stamp stash using the rainbow from the beautiful stamp set that comes with this month’s Creative Stamping Magazine. It’s a HUGE stamp set that has heaps of stamps that belong in the sky – everything from hot air balloons, to planes, birds and clouds!
I used lots of techniques like a heat emboss resist with watercolour, masking and heat embossing onto coloured cardstock. I really hope that it will help you think about your stash in a new light – there’s really so much you can do with it!
So I’m going to challenge you to get out a beloved stamp set that’s been hiding at the bottom of your stash for a while (or this stamp set if you get the magazine!) and use it to create 5 cards of your own! You could use the techniques I’ve shared as inspiration or come up with completely new ones. Let me know in the comments if you’re going to accept the challenge, and tag me on instagram @sarahsstampinretreat if you share your pictures – I’d love to see what you come up with!
