Good Morning Crafters!! I hope you’re well?! Today I’m sharing a beginner’s guide to heat embossing. I know that many of you will know how to heat emboss already, so I hope that you enjoy the really simple layout of this pretty card, but for those of you that don’t, it’s a little bit of magic!!
I have been using this technique for years. and still I love to watch the embossing powder melt!! So I hope that you’ll watch the below video, learn how to do it, and then have a go yourself!!
The measurements for the card are as below:
Card Base: A5 piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock scored and folded in half
Floral layer – 1/4″ smaller than your card front
Blackberry Bliss strip: same width as your floral layer and approx. 1/2″ wide.
I’ve listed below the basic tools for heat embossing, and then have added separately the extra supplies that you need to make the card.
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
