Hello Crafters! How are you? Adding stitching details to your cards is such a lovely way to add texture! And there are sooo many dies out there now to help you do it! The lovely sunflower that I’ve used on this card is the Stitching Die of the Month from Spellbinders. It’s not only really beautiful but also quick and simple to stitch. It’s completely suitable for even beginner sewers! The best thing about stitching onto a die-cut is that you can secure the thread on the back with tape and don’t have to worry about trapping it under your other stitches!
I not only used stitching to add texture to this card but an embossing folder too. I kept it white so that the focus is on the sunflower, but it adds a really lovely subtle pattern in the background. I kept the layout simple, because with so much texture you don’t want to overcrowd your card and I love the result!
