Easter Card created by Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin' Retreat using the masked embossing folder technique and some of the February Spellbinders clubs
Hello Crafters! How are you? I have a fun technique to share with you today; the masked embossing folder technique! Have you tried it? It makes it so that only select parts of your piece of cardstock get embossed. So, in my example, we have an embossed section around the outside, then a circular bit in the middle that is flat. It’s super clever but really simple to achieve, and all you need (other than the obvious embossing folder) is some thick cardstock (you can even use a cereal carton)!!
I created my Easter card using some of this month’s Spring themed Spellbinders clubs, which are super pretty, but you could do this with any of the embossing folders in your stash and any shape of aperture for lots of different looks on your projects!
Click the link below to see the video tutorial for all of these cards, then scroll to the bottom of the post to find links to the supplies you will need to create it!
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to create it. Please note that some of the products used may have been gifted to me by the relevant companies.
