Handmade thank you card created by UK Stampin' Up Demonstrator Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin' Retreat using the Thank You Die and See a Silhouette DSP from Stampin' Up!
Hello Crafters! How are you today? I hope you’re well! Today I’m sharing a Thank You card made with the lovely Thank You die and See a Silhouette paper pack. The best thing about it though is that both of the main things used to make this card are on clearance at the moment – the Thank You die is massively reduced from £17 to £6.80 and the See a Silhouette Paper pack is reduced from £10.75 to £8.06! Hence the “Bargain” statement in the header for this post! You can get 72 matts the size of the one I used on this card from a full pack of the paper so there’s enough to keep you going for LOADS of cards!
Product ListRead on for the tutorial and full shopping list!
To create your card blank, score and fold an A5 piece of Night of Navy cardstock in half. Cut a piece of Shimmery White cardstock 1/4″ smaller than your card front, then a piece of your See a Silhouette patterned paper 1/4″ smaller than that.
Glue your layers to your card front, then die cut your “Thank You” sentiment from Shimmery White cardstock.
Cut down some Stampin’ Dimensionals (foam pads), or use some of the waste from the outside of the sheet to create pieces small enough to hide behind the thicker parts of your sentiment, then add it to your card.
I think that this is a simple but effective card that would be great for bulk making as it’s so quick to do! Add an extra Shimmery White layer inside your card to write on and you’re good to go!
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
