Hello Crafters! How are you today? Today’s card features the Beautiful Friendship stamp set and a lot of fussy cutting! But I’m sooo please with how it turned out! The colours are Rococo Rose and Rich Razzleberry which I’ve mixed with cream and gold. The images in the stamp set are created so that some areas stamp darker than others giving the flowers some extra texture.
Beautiful Friendship Photopolymer Stamp Set [149252] £20.00
To create the card base, score and fold an A5 (8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″) piece of Rococo Rose cardstock in half. Then, cut a piece of In Good Taste DSP (patterned paper) 1/4″ smaller than the card front. Wrap a piece of Gold Edged ribbon around the patterned paper, attaching the ends at the back, and glue it to your card front.
Stamp the elements from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock (Very Vanilla may also look nice if you want the cardstock to blend more with the background of the card). The large flower is stamped in Rococo Rose and the rest in Rich Razzleberry. Then, cut them out with your paper snips or other nice sharp scissors.
Heat emboss your sentiment onto a small piece of Rococo Rose cardstock with Gold Embossing Powder. [Not sure how to heat emboss? watch my video tutorial HERE]. Then, cut out your sentiment with a Stitched Rectangle Die.
Arrange your floral elements, a couple of the leaves from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut papers, and the sentiment on the front of the card, glueing most of the elements, then using Stampin’ Dimensionals (foam pads) to pop up the large flower and the sentiment.
Complete your card by adding some gold Metallic Pearls to the centre of the large flowers.
