Good Morning Crafters! I hope you’re having a lovely week! Today I’m sharing some printed gift wrap and a tag that I made for my nephew’s birthday. It’s made using the Birthday Delivery suite. Have you seen it? You can buy all of the elements separately but I chose to buy the bundle which contains the Designer Series Paper. the stamp set and the dies as then you save 10% versus buying all of the elements separately. I chose to colour the poodle image by hand, but several of the dies not only fit the stamps but the images on the Designer Series paper, so you can use them to cut out these pre-coloured images. Great for quick crafting! I love the flexibility of being able to do either.
For the wrapping paper, I simply took some brown wrapping paper and stamped it in Basic Black ink with the poodle image from the stamp set.
To make the poodle for the tag, I stamped the image onto Whisper White paper, and coloured it with Smokey Slate, and Pacific Point Stampin’ Write Markers. Don’t they give a beautiful even finish? I then used the poodle die that comes in the bundle to cut the image out.
To create the tag, I cut a 2″ x 4″ piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock and used the Tag Topper Punch to create the tag. I used the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Special Celebrations stamp set to stamp the sentiment in Crumbcake ink onto the tag. I then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the poodle I made. To finish the tag I tied some Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine through the hole in the tag and attached it to the present.
Voila! A super easy way to jazz up some boring brown paper for a gift!
