Hello Crafters! How are you today? From the time I decided I had to have the gorgeous Coming Home stamps I knew I wanted to make New Home cards with them. I love it when you can take a stamp set designed for one purpose and use it for different ones! This is designed for Christmas but can absolutely be used year round and I love the simplicity of this new home card!

I also just had to use those gorgeous Playful Alphabet dies! Have I sold you on them yet? They work so well on so many different cards I feel as though they’re a must have for everyone’s die collection!

Coming Home Photopolymer Stamp Set [153500] £17.00

Playful Alphabet Dies [152706] £32.00

Tutorial – Coming Home New Home Card

To create your card blank, score and fold a 10″ x 5″ piece of Balmy Blue Cardstock in half. Then, cut a 4 3/4″ square piece of Petal Pink cardstock and add it to your card front.

Stamp the houses and the tree from your Coming Home stamp set in Memento Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock and colour them using your Stampin’ Blends (alcohol markers). Cut them out with scissors (there are coordinating dies if you prefer to cut them out with these).

Heat emboss your sentiment (mine came from the Well Said stamp set) in White Embossing Powder onto Balmy Blue cardstock [not sure how to heat emboss? see my video tutorial HERE] Then cut it into a thin strip and position it on your card.

Add a piece of Foam Adhesive Sheet to the back of a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and cut the letters to make the word “HOME” using the Playful Alphabet dies.

Add the houses and tree to your card above your sentiment glueing the ones in the background and popping the house and tree in the middle up on Stampin’ Dimensionals (foam pads). Then add your “HOME” letters above the houses, using a ruler to ensure they’re in a straight line.

I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
