Hello Crafters! How are you? I’m so happy to be able to share these flowers with you today! It was recently Mother’s Day in the UK, so I made this for my mum! It actually started out as a mistake – I had been doing a project where I had to create a whole bunch of floral card fronts, and I had a few where a hair had got stuck under my stamp and left a thin line of ink across the project. I was wondering what to do with these images as I didn’t want to waste them and I came up with this! I love to decoupage my stamps to create 3D images, and I’ve not done it for a while. This seemed to be the perfect opportunity as I could cut off the parts of the image that were ruined and layer them together. I’m sooo pleased with how it turned out! Look at the layers up close!!
These beautiful flowers are from the Build-a-Garden Blooming Delight set from Altenew. Aren’t they gorgeous?! The set comprises a stamp set, a die set, a set of layering stencils and a mini blending brush! I can’t get enough of it! I’m also going to enter this card into this month’s Altenew Inspiration Challenge. The inspiration for the challenge this month is just beautiful! You can see the image below, and why not enter yourself HERE.
