Handmade Christmas Cards created by Sarah Phelan from Sarahs Stampin Retreat using Arctic Wonder Patterned Paper as the background for scenic cards
Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I’m sharing some scenic cards I’ve created using patterned papers as the backdrop. I chose to do this as I think many people have a lot of cards to create at Christmas and this really speeds up the process. It allows us to use our gorgeous stamps, and hand colour the images, but then have the backgrounds done for us, cutting down the workload but still creating gorgeous finished products.
The patterned papers that I’ve used for this are the First Edition Arctic Wonder papers. I always love the first edition paper pads because they’re such gorgeous quality! I’ve used a selection of stamps – the robin and the car are an absolute bargain – I said in the video I thought they were 39p each, but at the time of writing this they’re actually only 25p!! The gorgeous House Mouse stamps and the Gnome Hugs sentiments set are from Spellbinders.
