Daisy Punch Monotone Handmade Wedding Card

Hello Crafters! How are you today? I’ve called this card a wedding card in the title, but honestly, I think it could be an anniversary or engagement card too. I’ve used the Medium Daisy Punch and simple colours, but lots of texture to make it more interesting. It’s actually quite a simple card to make – the trickiest bit is putting the small metallic pearls in the centre of the flower’s – if you’re struggling with your fingers, why not try a pokey tool to help? (the Take Your Pick tool has a slightly sticky pick-up end, a pokey tool end and an end with a small spatula – you could try any of these and use whichever works best for you. I’ll link it in the shopping list at the bottom of the page).

Tutorial – Daisy Punch Monotone Handmade Wedding Card

To create your card base, score and fold an A5 (8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″) piece of Smoky Slate cardstock in half. Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 1/2″ smaller and run it through your die-cutting machine in the Tasteful Textures embossing folder.

Use the second largest Ornate Layers die to cut out a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock and heat emboss your sentiment (mine is from the Forever Ferns Stamp Set) in white embossing powder in the corner. [Not sure how to heat emboss? Watch our video tutorial HERE]

Punch 4 daisy shapes from Whisper White cardstock using your Medium Daisy Punch. Use them to create 2 daisy’s, offsetting 2 punched pieces, one on top of the other, and using a Mini Stampin’ dimensional to attach them together. Decorate the centres of the flowers with some of the silver metallic pearls.

Add your grey panel to your card, and the daisy’s on top of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals, then finish off with a few extra metallic pearls around the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
