Beautiful Wooden Box Decorated by Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin Retreat using the Prima Painted Floral Rub-ons
Hello Crafters! How are you? I thought I’d share something a little different with you today – a wooden box that I decorated using the Painted Floral Rub-ons from Prima Marketing. It’s the first time I’ve used them and I was really pleased with the result! It would be great as a jewellery box, a box to keep your make-up or bits and bobs in, or maybe even all those bits and pieces in your craft room that you always want to keep on hand. It was really fun (and surprisingly quick) to make, and would be great as a gift too!
I chose to go for a bit of a distressed look on this, but if you prefer a cleaner style, you could make the stencilling neater (using a paintbrush or small sponge rather than the dabbing technique that I used), and obviously you can change the colours too to fit into your home decor style.
Watch the video below to see how I created this, or scroll down further if you want to see the supply list.
