Good Morning Crafters!! As promised, I have another project today using that FABULOUS Delightfully Detailed Lasercut paper that I used last week. Today’s card is super simple – you could make a bunch of these in one sitting and they make gorgeous little notecards. I chose to use the “Congratulations” greeting from the Floral Phrases stamp set on this card, but equally they would make lovely “Thank You” or birthday cards. You could make a bunch with different greetings and have some ready for any occasion. They use the Delightfully Detailed Notecards and Envelopes too, which have a lovely watercolour wash look on the front. You get 20 notecards, 5 each of 4 designs, in a pack so you could really go to town with a pack of the paper and a set of notecards.

Tutorial – Delightfully Detailed Watercolour Wash Notecards

This little notecard is really cute but actually really simple to make. Simply cut around some of the florals on one of the large sheets of paper to create two corner pieces of paper (as seen in the card image) and stick them to your notecard front using little bits of glue. You could actually make these cards using scraps of the paper that you have leftover. I used one of the Blackberry Bliss cards as I like the contrast but you can get a really pretty soft look by using one of the Mint Macaron cards. The Delightfully Detailed paper is actually double sided so it’s Very Vanilla one one side and Whisper White on the other. I’ve used the Very Vanilla side here to coordinate with the card base.

I coordinated the base with Rich Razzleberry on the sentiment, simply using Rich Razzleberry ink to stamp the Congratulations sentiment from the Floral Phrases stamp set onto a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock 1/4″ narrower than my notecard, then layering this onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock the same width as my card and 1/4″ taller than the Very Vanilla strip. To complete the card, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment strip.

I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
