Detailed Bands Thank You Card and Coordinating Tag

Good Morning Crafters! I hope you’re feeling good this morning and have some time for crafting! This lovely card and tag set uses 2 different die sets (Detailed Bands and Well Written) and a stamp set (Daisy Lane), but if you don’t have them, most crafters have some sentiment dies and foliage stamps that they could substitute in so maybe you can find some in your collection?

So how do you make this cute little duo?? Read on!

Tutorial – Detailed Bands Thank You Card and Coordinating Tag

Let’s start with the tag!

Tag Instructions

Create 3 layers: – Whisper White measuring 2″ x 4″, Gold Foil Sheet measuring 1 3/4″ x 4″ and Pretty Peacock measuring 1 1/2″ x 4″, and use the Delightful Tag Punch to punch one end of each layer, ensuring you place each layer in the centre of the punch before punching.

Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp leaves from the Daisy Lane stamp set across the Pretty Peacock Layer. This creates a lovely tone-on-tone effect, then glue the three layers together ensuring you line up the punched holes.

Die-Cut “Thanks” from Whisper White cardstock using your Well Written dies and glue this onto your tag, then complete by tieing some of the polka dot ribbon through the hole.

Card Instructions

Create an A6 card blank by scoring and folding an A5 piece of Whisper White cardstock in half. Cut a piece of Gold Foil Sheet the same width as your card but 1/2″ shorter, and then a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock the same width again but 1/4″ shorter than your Gold panel.

Randomly stamp across your Pretty Peacock layer using the leaf from your Daisy Lane stamp set and your Pretty Peacock ink.

Cut a band from Gold Foil Sheet using the die from the Detailed Bands die set, and then use the coordinating oval die to cut an oval from Pretty Peacock card.

Finish by die-cutting your “thanks” from Whisper White cardstock and glueing it to your oval, then pop the oval onto your band with foam pads (Stampin’ Dimensionals) and glue all of your layers and the band to your card.
