Die-cutting Magic on Handmade cards created by Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin' Retreat with the 9th Magazine Box Kit from John Next Door
Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I have some Die-Cutting magic to share with you! For this month’s John Next Door magazine (#9) I was challenged to use the dies in different ways to create 5 cards – so this is what I came up with! I used so many other fun little techniques too, like heat emboss letterpress on die-cuts, die-cut inlay, and some fun watercolouring with inks!
I really love this month’s kit! I think that the cake is beautiful and could be used for so many different occasions! Obviously birthday, but also wedding, christening… it’s really versatile! And the papers would suit many different colour palettes. The magazine box kits are great, because not only do you get the kit, but a magazine full of inspiration from different designers with ideas for how to use it and step-by-step tutorials!
