Hello Crafters! How are you today? I hope you’re enjoying your weekend! Today’s card is another dinosaur card using the Dinoroar DSP, this time using a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. I’ve added a photo of the inside of the card too – I love to decorate the inside of my cards with some simple stamping or a fussy cut image, I really think it adds an extra something special!
It’s a super simple card that everyone could make. The sketch that I used for it is below…
I’d love to know if you’ve joined in with one of their challenges? Or maybe there’s another challenge you like to take part in?
To start your card, create a 5″ square card blank by scoring and folding a 5″ x 10″ piece of Mango Melody cardstock in half. Then, cut a 4 1/2″ square piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock and add it to your card front.
Cut a 4 1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock, and stamp the centre several times using the background piece from the Label Me Bold stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink, then glue this layer onto your card.
On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Label Me Bold stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink, then cut around it with your scissors, leaving a small white border.
Cut out one of the large dinosaurs from the Dinoroar paper pack and use Stampin’ Dimensionals (foam pads) to attach it to the card. Use some of the waste from around the edge of the dimensionals to add on your sentiment.
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
