Double-Slider Gingerbread Christmas Card created by Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin' Retreat using the Stamps By Me Magazine Box Kit
Hello Lovely Crafters! How are you? Have you ever made a double-slider card before? I confess I hadn’t until this one! I was surprised by how simple it was, as it seemed quite complicated at first!! But once I started it all came together nicely. To be fair, I did have the added help of the templates from the Made to Surprise Magazine Box Kit that’s out this month. This was one of the projects I created for the magazine, so I had to work out how to create it myself, but there are a ton of cards and step-by-step instructions in the magazine to give you ideas as to how you can create your own cards using the templates (and all of the other goodies included!).
I think this was my favourite of the 5 projects I created for the magazine, partly because I love how it looks, and partly because I felt a real sense of achievement from having worked out how to create it. I think that’s why it’s good to try new things; it can seem daunting at first, but the sense of accomplishment when we achieve something that we found a bit tricky is far greater than it is when you did something easily.
You can find the video for how to create this double-slider card below, or you can scroll a bit further if you’d like to check out the supply list.
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to create it. Please note that some of the products used may have been gifted to me by the relevant companies.
