Good Morning Crafters! Did you have a lovely Bank Holiday? I’ve been having lots of fun playing with the new Eastern Palace Suite! Have you got yours yet? The bundle’s great value! All I’ve added to the Premier Bundle to make this card is some Crumb Cake cardstock and some glue! You even get the ink and the accessories included! So, on with how to make this beautiful Eastern Palace Thank You Card…
The base of this card is made from a 5″ x 10″ piece of Thick Very Vanilla cardstock (which comes free with your bundle!), scored and folded in half. The front of this is covered with a 5″ x 5″ piece of the stripey Fresh Fig paper from the DSP pack in your bundle.
For the centre piece, take a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock measuring 2¾” x 5″. Stamp this all over using the starburst stamp from your set and the Fresh Fig ink as show in the picture of the card. Layer this on top of a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock measuring 3 1/8″ x 5″.
Stamp the wibbly square (I can’t think of a better name for this shape? Anyone have any better ideas?) onto a piece of Very Vanilla with the Fresh Fig ink and cut it out using the matching die. Use the die that fits inside the wibbly square to add detail, and then stamp the little corner decorative piece into each “corner” of the square (if you refer to the picture you’ll see what I mean!). Turn the die cut so it is more of a diamond, and then stamp the “thank you” sentiment from the stamp set in the centre. Curve the inside “corners” up and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop this up onto your stamped Crumb Cake Cardstock. Squeeze one of the Fresh Fig tassels in under the die cut to finish your centrepiece.
To finish, just use Stampin’ Dimensionals to raise this centrepiece off the card.
I hope you enjoyed this project. Please click the buttons below to shop the products used to make this card.
