Good Morning Crafters! How are you today? Today I’m sharing a floral congratulations card that I designed for one of my workshops – I love crafting at home and sharing things on my blog, but I do miss the personal element of my in-person workshops and am looking forward to being able to do them again once things return to being more “normal”.
This card uses the gorgeous Beautiful Friendship floral stamp set and is super easy – you could make a whole bunch at once and change up the colour combos to suit your style or that of your recipient.
Product ListRead on for the tutorial and full shopping list!
To create your card blank, score and fold a piece of A5 Seaside Spray cardstock in half.
Cut a rectangle of Whisper White cardstock 1/4″ smaller than your card front, and a long strip of Whisper White cardstock 3/4″ wide.
Place the strip of cardstock diagonally across your rectangular piece of card and draw along either side of it with a pencil to create a stamping guide.
Stamp the large floral image in the centre of your stamping guide using Seaside Spray ink, then use the smaller floral images and leaves to decorate along the rest of the guide and in the corners of the card using Seaside Spray, Pacific Point and Soft Seafoam inks.
Stamp your sentiment in Pacific Point ink onto your strip of Whisper White cardstock and then mount this onto a 1 inch wide strip of Seaside Spray cardstock. Use foam pads to attach the strip to your white rectangle across your guide lines, then cut the strip to the same width as your card.
Glue your floral topper onto your Seaside Spray card blank to finish.
