Good Morning Crafters!! How are you this morning? Last Wednesday I shared with you a simple stamped card using the Floral Frames stamp set. Today I decided to share a more stepped up version of the same card for the Avid Crafters amongst you who want to add a bit more.
To create your card base, score and fold a 5″ x 10″ piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock in half. Then cut your Matts and Layers – a 4 1/2″ square piece of Gray Granite cardstock and a 4 1/4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock.
Stamp the large frame from your Floral Frames stamp set in Gray Granite ink in the middle of your Whisper White layer, then stamp the coordinating sentiment of your choice in the centre. Stamp each of the coordinating flower stamps onto a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock.
Colour both the frame and the extra flowers with your Stampin’ Blends – I used the dark and light Daffodil Delight blends for the flowers, the two Mint Macaron blends for the larger leaves, and the light Smoky Slate for the smaller leaves.
Cut out the spare flowers and add them to the frame using Stampin’ Dimensionals (there are coordinating dies available if you don’t want to fussy cut the flowers). Add silver Metallic Pearls to the center of each of the flowers, then add all of the layers to your card front.
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
