Hello crafters! How are you? Today I’m sharing a light-up floral monogram card that I created using the Chibitronics lights and my favourite Be Bold Blooms dies from Spellbinders. I really wanted to create a monogram with the look of those large light-up letters that are really popular at weddings and big birthday celebrations, so I used one of the Mega Letter dies from Altenew and punched in some holes for the lights to shine through. I wanted the “push here” button to be there to tell the recipient what to do, but I didn’t want it to be a focus on the card so I heat embossed it in gold rather than white and put it as the centre of one of the flowers. It looks sooo pretty when it lights up!!
This is a really lovely way to personalise a card, and I think it’s pretty even without the lights, but adding the lights gives it that extra “wow!”
