Good Morning! How are you this morning? The Berry Burst colour I’ve used on today’s card always puts me in a good mood! It’s so fresh and I feel like it’s a happy colour! I’ve used it with the Floral Phrases stamp set and the Fresh Floral Designer Series paper to create a pretty Thank You Card.
I bought the Floral Phrases stamp set in last year’s catalogue, but it’s carried forward into the new catalogue and I’m loving using it with the beautiful new In Colours to create a whole new look!
This card is super simple to create. Start by creating a card blank from an A5 piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock scored and folded in half. Stamp the floral image in Berry Burst ink at the top of the card, then stamp the “A special note of thanks to you…” sentiment in Berry Burst on a spare sliver of Whisper White card stock.
Cut a piece of Berry Burst cardstock down to 1/4″ wider than your Whisper White sentiment, then cut both pieces of cardstock down to 4 1/8″ to fit across your card. Adhere the sentiment to the piece of Berry Burst cardstock.
Cut a piece of the Berry Burst paper from the Fresh Floral DSP stack to measure 2 1/2″ x 4 1/8″ and stick this to the bottom of your card. Adhere the sentiment across the top of your patterned paper. Finish your card by drawing a dashed line around the top of your card using the pen end of your Berry Burst Stampin’ Write Marker.
