Hello Crafters! How are you today? Today’s card is another of those that’s incredibly difficult to capture in a photograph because it’s so super shiny!! I was really pleased with how it turned out in person and I hope you can get a sense of that in the picture! It uses another one of those gorgeous Forever Gold card fronts – you can honestly make sooo many cards from just one pack – there are 18 card fronts (3 each of 6 designs) as well as all of the focal pieces and foliage! And yes, I had to use THAT sentiment from the Best Year stamp set AGAIN!! I think it may actually be my most used stamp ever!! I totally recommend getting that set if you haven’t got it already!

Tutorial – Forever Gold Handmade Birthday Card

To create your card base, score and fold an A5 (5 7/8″ x 8 1/4″) piece of Soft Seafoam cardstock in half.

Pop out the leafy card front from one of the Forever Gold sheets, then attach it to a piece of Soft Seafoam cardstock 1/4″ larger than it. Use Just Jade and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blend duos to colour inside the leaves.

Attach a piece of Gold Trim ribbon at the back of your coloured cardstock on one side, then wrap it round the front of the card and secure it at the back on the other side. Glue the topper onto a piece of Gold Foil sheet 1/8″ bigger, then add this to your card using Stampin’ Dimensionals (double sided foam pads).

To complete your card, stamp your sentiment onto a scrap of Soft Seafoam cardstock in Shaded Spruce ink, then cut around it using a stitched rectangle die. Mount this onto a piece of Gold Foil Sheet 1/8″ bigger and add it to your card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
