Forever Greenery Green and Gold Birthday Card

Hello Crafters, how are you today? Today’s card is a great one to have as a spare card – one you can call on when you don’t have time to make one specifically for a birthday, or maybe a birthday just creeps up on you?! This is one that I think you could comfortably give to most adults, male or female, and have them feel like you’ve really made an effort! It uses that GORGEOUS Forever Greenery suite again. Do you have it? If so I hope you’re enjoying the inspiration and I’d love to see your creations!

Product List

Check out the tutorial below if you want to have a go – it’s easy enough for all levels of crafter as long as you have a die-cutting machine (if not then just replace the die-cut elements with ones that you’ve cut out by hand!)

Tutorial – Forever Greenery Green and Gold Birthday Card

To create the card blank, score and fold an A5 (half of an A4 sheet) piece of Old Olive cardstock in half.

Add the background from the Forever Gold sheets onto your card front, making sure that you only put glue around the outside which is wide enough to hide it.

Stamp one of the images from the Forever Ferns stamp set in Old Olive ink onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and cut around it using the coordinating die (or scissors if you don’t have the die set).

Stamp your sentiment (mine is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set) in Old Olive ink onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and cut around it using one of the stitched nested dies.

Cut a thin strip (approximately 1 cm or 1/2″ wide) of Old Olive cardstock and cut a flag out of each end.

Layer up all of your elements, along with some of the leaves from the Forever Gold laser-cut sheets onto your card front using a mixture of glue and foam pads to add a little dimension.

I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
