Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I’m sharing some fun and funky grid card ideas! I think often grid cards can be thought of as a little boring, so I wanted to give them a refresh and make them fun! I used a couple of new Spellbinders products to create them with – the first is the Stampendous Hugs accessory die set. This is a set of dies that is designed to accessorise some bears. Even though I don’t have the bears, I really wanted the accessory set, because it has so many versatile dies! The bows, hearts, and presents/envelopes all work really well on their own and I really like it as a stand-alone die set.
The second new product I used for these cards is the Mandala Blooms embossing folder. I used it with a really lovely heat embossing technique, and it totally makes the gorgeous detail pop! If you love this embossing folder and want some more inspiration, I used it on a couple of the cards I created in my recent blog post on how to use vellum in your cardmaking (which you can find HERE).
