Light Up Rainbow Card created by Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin' Retreat showing how to add colour with white lights using Chibitronics LED Stickers
Hello Crafters! How are you? I have another fun light-up card to share with you today! I think sometimes all of the choices when you’re starting out with light-up cards can be a bit overwhelming – there are so many colour options and types of lights, so my recommendation would always be to start with some ordinary white LEDs. Why? Because they’re the most versatile! Today I’m going to show you how you can add colour to your cards with white LEDs by creating easy filters using vellum. It really helps to stretch your white lights!
It’s always difficult to capture lights on camera – these look even prettier in real life! Creating your own filters also means you could use whichever colours you wanted and really make it your own! I show you how to put the circuit for this card together in the video below, but I’ll add a picture of the circuit here as well for your reference.
