how to create a watercolour card
how to create a watercolour card

Hello Crafters! How are you? I’m coming to the end of level 1 for my Altenew Certified Educator Programme -- this is my 8th of 10 projects. This watercolour card is for the Celebration: Stencil Techniques class (you can find the class HERE if you want to have a go!). I love coming across techniques that are new to me, and I’d never tried this stamping with stencils technique before. How lovely is the subtle background that this technique gave me?! It inspired me to colour the stamp with watercolours, something I’ve barely used since school, but I got a set of Altenew watercolours free with an order and I just had to use them on this!

I created this card using the colourblock triangles stencil from Altenew. This technique gives a completely different look to the one that I used this stencil for last time (you can find that graphic men’s card HERE).
