Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I’m sharing something that I hope a lot of you will find useful over the holiday season – a gift card wallet! It fits a gift card or some folded notes, so it’s perfect for when you want to give someone the opportunity to choose their own gift, by giving a gift card or money, but you still want it to be personal. I think a handmade gift card wallet does just that.
You can, of course, make this in any colour, with any type of decoration to suit your recipient, so it’s very flexible. I created mine using paper and stamps from the latest Lisa Horton Magazine Box Kit. This actually uses up so little paper, that it’s a perfect make for using up some of your scraps or leftovers when you’re getting towards the end of a kit.
These are also a great make if you do craft fairs – they’re quick and simple to make, and have a wide target audience as a lot of people will have someone that they gift money or gift cards to over the holiday period.
Take a look at the video tutorial below to see how to create these gift card wallets, or scroll further down if you want to get to the supply list.
Happy Crafting!
