Hello Crafters! How are you? I’ve got a really fun patterned paper collection to share with you today!! It’s the Finding Paradise collection from Dovecraft and it’s full of gorgeous prints and fun animals. I’m sure I’m not the only one that has bought a gorgeous collection of products before, and then got them home and been really stumped on what to make?! So I decided to do a video on how to make the most of your patterned paper collections. I created 10 cards and the video covers everything from very simple cards to shakers and aperture cards, but all of the cards are easy to create. Which is your favourite? Let me know in the comments at the bottom!
You’ll also find lots of tips for using your patterned paper collections in this video. Everything from combining different scales of patterns on your papers, to using different elements from the collection in different ways!
This is my first post as part of the DRK Makers Team! If you’ve not heard of them, they’re a UK-based craft company that sells very reasonably priced collections! Check out their website HERE. The thing I loved the most about this first project is that they gave me a voucher to spend instead of sending me their choice of products, so I got to choose exactly what I wanted! This has only just touched the sides of this collection, so I’ll have plenty more to share with you in future videos!
