Hello Crafters. How are you today? I’m super excited about today’s post because it’s a new format of video tutorial. I’m showing you how to create ink blended backgrounds with sponge brayers, and then we’ll create 3 different Christmas cards using the backgrounds we made. There are 2 more classic cards and one cute one created with the same background technique.
I’d love to hear your feedback on this format of video (you could leave a comment below) as I’m considering replacing my usual blog schedule; I’d leave the Friday video slot as a speciality make slot (specialilty cards, gift boxes, etc.), then would replace the other two tutorials that I post each week with one post like today’s – it would be a video post rather than written instructions where we’d create a few projects all on one theme.
So the key product that we’ll be using for our ink blended backgrounds today are our sponge brayers. These are great value as you get 2 handles and 4 sponges in each pack!! They’re great for creating quick and easy backgrounds, and I find them a lot easier for this than some of the other applicators available.
