Large Celebrate Sunflowers Gift Box Video Tutorial

Hello Crafters, how are you today? I really wish you could see today’s gift box in person; the picture really doesn’t do it justice – the border is a shiny gold and the colours richer than I could capture on the camera! It uses that gorgeous large sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and I’ve decoupaged different layers from the same stamp to create a lovely 3D effect. 

It’s quite a large box too, so it has plenty of uses – it’s 4″ x 4″ x 2″. I have a couple of these that I’m going to gift, but if you have a gardener in your life, why not fill it with seed packets and gift it to them?!

Dimensions

Base – 8″ x 8″ piece of Night of Navy Cardstock scored at 2″ and 6″ on both sides

Lid – 8″ x 8″ piece of Night of Navy Cardstock scored at 1″ and 2″ on all sides (lid to have a small space to edge of board before scoring – see video for more details)

Gold Foil Layer – 3 3/4″ square

Navy Lid Layer – 3 1/2″ square
