Good Morning Crafters! I hope you’re having a lovely weekend! As we’re nearing the end of the Christmas Crafting season, I’m going to share another very simple card today. It uses that fir tree that I so love from the Lovely as a Tree stamp set. I think the simple colours; Basic Grey and Gold make for an elegant card though.
To make the card base, simply score and fold an A4 piece of Basic Grey cardstock in half and trim the bottom off to create a square.
Cut a 5″ square piece of Basic Grey card and a 5 1/4″ piece of Gold Foil Sheet. Stamp three fir trees from the Lovely as a Tree stamp set in Versamark ink onto your Basic Grey square, overlapping them a little. Then, stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Star of Light stamp set under it. Sprinkle Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder over the versamark ink then shake off the excess and melt the powder with your heat tool.
Layer your Basic Grey square on top of your Gold Foil square, then attach them to the front of your card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. It’s as simple as that!
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
