Magnolia Lane Handmade Tag

Good Morning Crafters!! How are you this morning? I thought I’d round off the week with a final Magnolia Lane project (then I promise I’ll take a break from this suite for a little while!!) It’s sooo lovely though, and I’ve had loads of fun making these projects! Today I’ve combined it with the GORGEOUS stitched lace dies to create this beautiful tag. I feel like this would help to make any present look a million dollars!!

So; on to the tutorial…

Tutorial – Magnolia Lane Handmade Tag

To start your tag, cut a 2″ x 4″ piece of Basic Black Cardstock, and a 1 1/2″ x 4″ piece of both Petal Pink and Whisper White Cardstock. Stick the Whisper White piece to one side of the black cardstock, running down the centre so you will have somewhere to write your greeting, then run the Petal Pink piece through your die cutting machine with your Stitched lace die and stick this to the other side (Top Tip: if you’re making more than one tag at once, die cut the stitched lace panel into Petal Pink Cardstock before you cut the 1 1/2″ x 4″ panels to save time).

Use the delightful tag punch to shape one end into a tag, then tie a length of Black Satin ribbon through the hole.

If you have the Magnolia Memory dies, use these to cut the magnolia from the Magnolia Lane DSP (patterned paper). If not, then it’s easy enough to fussy cut with some sharp scissors and add to your tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp set, stamp the “Thanks” greeting in Black Memento Ink and cut it out using the appropriate Stitched Nested Label Die. Add this to your tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals, sliding it under one of the leaves of your magnolia as you stick it down.

In case you love this suite as much as I do, I’ve included the product code for the entire Magnolia Lane suite below and also the product code for the Magnolia Lane bundle (the stamp set and coordinating dies). You don’t need all of the items in the Magnolia Lane suite, or the dies from the bundle (although you can use them if you have them) for this project, but this suite is so beautiful that I certainly won’t judge you if you NEED everything!!

I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
