I chose to make today’s card because I LOVE the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up, but I wanted to challenge myself to make a more masculine card using this paper. Remember to get your Sale-a-Bration items quickly though as they are only available while stocks last, and we have less than 2 weeks left to get a Sale-a-Bration item free with every £45.00 we spend!
To make my card, I cut a 3.5″ x 3.5″ piece of the Inside the Lines paper (it’s the centre of the one with the Ditsy Florals on it) and coloured it using a selection of greys, purples and yellows.
To create the card blank, cut a 4.5″ x 9″ piece of Basic Grey Card and score it in half. Take a sliver of Basic Grey card, 4.5″ wide and just over 1/4″ high and emboss the Happy Birthday sentiment with white embossing powder using the Big on Birthdays stamp set.
To finish the card, I cut a 3.75″ x 3.75″ piece of Crushed Curry cardstock, and layered all of the pieces of the card up as in the picture.
I’ve included a shopping list of everything I used to make this card below. If you are looking to invest in some Stampin’ Write markers, you could buy any two of the below packs and get the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper free! Although I used colours from all of the below packs, I would recommend the Neutrals and the Regals if you want to recreate the look of this card but just want two packs of pens.
