Masculine Inside the Lines Card

I chose to make today’s card because I LOVE the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up, but I wanted to challenge myself to make a more masculine card using this paper. To make my card, I cut a 3.5″ x 3.5″ piece of the Inside the Lines paper (it’s the centre of the one with the Ditsy Florals on it) and coloured it using a selection of greys, purples and yellows.

To create the card blank, cut a 4.5″ x 9″ piece of Basic Grey Card and score it in half. Take a sliver of Basic Grey card, 4.5″ wide and just over 1/4″ high and emboss the Happy Birthday sentiment with white embossing powder using the Big on Birthdays stamp set.

To finish the card, I cut a 3.75″ x 3.75″ piece of Crushed Curry cardstock, and layered all of the pieces of the card up as in the picture.

Although I used colours from all of the below packs, I would recommend the Neutrals and the Regals if you want to recreate the look of this card but just want two packs of pens.
