Morning Crafters! I hope you’re settling in for a lovely weekend! Today I’m sharing a lovely card using the Paisleys and Posies Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up. I have called it a masculine Birthday card as I actually made it for my Fiancé’s birthday, but I think you could make this for anyone and use their favourite colour instead of the Night of Navy.
The Paisleys and Posies Stamp set has a lot of lovely images and sentiments.
To make the card I took an A5 piece of Night of Navy Cardstock and scored it down the middle to create a card blank. Next, I loaded up a large acrylic block with lots of the stamps from the set so that I could stamp them all at once and be really accurate with how they’re placed. I inked all of the stamps up with Night of Navy ink and then stamped them over the front of my card, then did the same on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.
You can cut a 1″ strip of the stamped Whisper White cardstock and a 1 1/4″ strip of Silver Foil Sheet to fit my card, then layer these up on top of each other and adhere them to the left hand side of your card.
I used the Crazy About You Stamp Set for my Happy Birthday sentiment, but Stampin’ Up have loads of lovely sets with beautiful sentiments, so use whichever one you prefer! Just stamp your sentiment in Versamark ink and heat emboss it with Silver embossing powder.
I hope you enjoyed this project – use the shopping list below if you want to shop the products I used to make this.
