Good Morning Crafters! Are you getting into the Christmas spirit? It’s December tomorrow and Christmas 3 weeks on Monday, so I thought I’d share a really simple Christmas card today for those of you who aren’t done making yours and need something simple that you can bulk make quickly. The stars of this card are the Merry Music DSP and the star from the Stitched Felt Embellishments. There are 15 Stitched Felt embellishments, so if you bought all of the elements for this card, you could easily make 15 cards by swapping the star for some of the other stitched shapes. However, there would be plenty of the cardstock and papers left to create 45 cards if you bought 3 packs of the felt embellishments.
To create the card blank, take an A5 piece of Real Red Cardstock and score and fold it in half.
Cut a piece of Black Based Merry Music Designer Series Paper to 1/4″ each way smaller than your card front. Cut a 1″ strip of Whisper White cardstock, and a 1 1/4″ Real Red cardstock the same width as your Merry Music paper. Use Basic Black ink to stamp the Merry Christmas from the Snowflake sentiments onto the Right Hand side of the Whisper White panel (I didn’t ink up the “from our family to yours” part of the sentiment).
Layer the pieces up on top of your card front as shown in the picture, then add on a Felt Stitched Embellishment with wet glue, and 3 silver sequins with mini glue dots to finish. Simples!!
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
