Hello Crafters! How are you? Have you tried using inks with your embossing folders? I tried it once, years ago, and didn’t go back to it for AGES because I thought it wasn’t for me! I used the method where you apply the ink pad directly to the embossing folder, and I got ink all over my fingers, AND all over the embossing folder (including the areas I didn’t want it!). But then, more recently, I purchased a brayer and tried it again using that; what a game changer!! It wasn’t messy at all and the ink went exactly where I wanted it! I know some people use the direct-to-embossing folder method with no hassle, but if you, like me, find it tricky and messy, check out my video and try this no mess inky embossing folder technique instead!
I want to enter this card into the Craft & Connect Creative challenge for May so I used their card sketch to create my card. I’ve shared the sketch below, and you can find the challenge HERE if you want to enter too.
I just had to use the May Spellbinders Clubs one last time for this card! I love them SOOO much!! There will be no supply list today as you can no longer join this month’s clubs, but if you’re desperate for these products then check out the Spellbinders website towards the middle of next month, and if they have any left they will be available to buy then.
