Personalised Monogram Card with a Twist

Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I’m sharing a pretty monogram card with a twist!! I love using letters on cards for people’s birthdays – I think it’s a great way to make them feel special and know that you made it especially for them! I created this card for the “With a Twist” class from the Altenew Academy (you can find the class HERE). It’s a class all about doing things a little differently. So for this card I used my Altenew Garden Delights Layering Stamp Set and stamped the flower with an embossed outline onto coloured card instead of using the stamp intended to add the base colour to the flower. I also attached the “J” to the card before stamping across the whole thing with versamark ink. I left the versamark ink on its own on the background for a tone-on-tone look, and then heat embossed the “J”, so that the pattern continued but with a totally different look!

I’m actually also using this card as my entry into this month’s Altenew Inspiration Challenge. I really loved the colour combination on the inspiration photo (below) and so I wanted to use it on this card. If you want to create a card using this as inspiration, you can find more details over on the Altenew Inspiration Challenge (HERE)
