Hello Crafters! How are you today? Do you remember last Friday when we made the cute Notecard box? [if you missed the video you can find it HERE] Well, here are the cute cat notecards that I promised that you can gift inside it! This set is great as a cute set to send yourself, or it makes a fab gift when combined with the gift box, or even for selling at craft fairs!
Here’s a little reminder of the coordinating gift box. They are so lovely together!
The cards are super simple to make, and if you’re careful you can actually get all of the pieces for both the box and the cards from one piece of patterned paper (with a little left over!) .
There are four sheets of cats (2 each of 2 different designs) and four sheets of dogs in the pack, so there are plenty of cute pets to cut out to decorate them too! So why not grab a cuppa, put your feet up and watch the tutorial video? The dimensions and full shopping list are below too.
All of the cat notecards have a Real Red layer measuring 3 3/8″ x 4 7/8″.
Then, in the order of the video, the patterned paper layers measure as below:
Card 1 – patterned paper – 4 3/4″ x 3 1/4″ (12 x 8.2cm)
Card 2 – patterned paper – 3 1/4″ x 3″ (8.2 x 7.6 cm)
Card 3 – patterned paper – 2 strips measuring 4 5/8″ x 3/4″ (12 x 2cm), and 1 strip measuring 4 5/8″ x 1 1/4″ (12 x 3 cm)
Cards 4 and 5 – patterned paper – 3″ x 4 1/2″ (7.6 x 11.4cm) cut diagonally from corner to corner.
