Hello Crafters! How are you today? Do you have any pets? The card I’m sharing today uses the dogs from the Playful Pets DSP, but I’ll have to create one soon to show off the cute cats too as there are sheets that I’ve not even touched yet that have cats on and also more breeds of dog. This card is really simple, but also pretty big at 5 3/4″ square, which shows you how much of an impact that gorgeous large sentiment from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set has!
Product ListTo create your card blank, score and fold a 5 3/4″ x 11 1/2″ piece of Basic Gray cardstock in half.
Cut a piece of the Playful Pets DSP to 5 1/2″ square and add it to the front of your card.
Cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock 3 1/2″ square and a piece of Basic Gray 3 3/4″ square. Stamp your sentiment onto the Whisper White square in Basic Gray ink, then use a Basic Gray Stampin’ Write Marker to draw stitches around the edge of the square. Glue the white square onto the Basic Gray square and then add it onto your card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (foam pads).
Cut around two of the dogs from the Playful Pets DSP leaving a small white border around the outside (this will help it stand out against the black background) and add them to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
