Poinsettia Embroidery Hoop wreath created by UK Stampin Up Demonstrator Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin Retreat using the Poinsettia Dies from Stampin Up
Hello Crafters! How are you today? I’m really excited to share today’s project with you because I’m absolutely in love with it! It’s an Embroidery Hoop Wreath created with the gorgeous Poinsettia dies from Stampin’ Up! By layering up the different sizes you can create these gorgeous dimensional flowers that make a fabulous luxurious looking wreath. I’ve added a close-up photo too so that you can see how much detail there is with these dies – the flowers and leaves come with outline dies that you can use on their own, but they also come with an embossing piece that you can pop through your die-cutting machine at the same time, and they will emboss the details onto the petals and leaves and add an extra realistic detail to them.
There’s a lot of die-cutting for this wreath, but because it uses a lot of different dies from the set, if you have a large format machine and pop all of the different dies through at once, you can actually cut everything with 6 passes through your machine!!
I used Real Red for my flowers, but I definitely want to try some in different colours – I think it would look great with White flowers, or even vellum for a very delicate look.
Poinsettia Dies [153522] £33.00
You will need to die-cut the following for your wreath:
