Hello Crafters! How are you today?! I have a reindeer Christmas Card for you today. It uses less traditional colours but I really like the grey, green and gold together – they are probably colours I wouldn’t have thought to put together if it wasn’t for that lovely background paper. The products we’re using today come from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley. It has a lot of products in traditional colours, but it also has these less traditional elements. I’ve made a few other things with this product medley, so if you’re thinking of purchasing it and would like some more inspiration, you can check them out HERE
Most Wonderful Time Product Medley (En) [150705] £65.00
To create your card base, score and fold an A5 (5 7/8″ x 8 1/4″) piece of Basic Gray cardstock in half.
Cut a piece of the Reindeer DSP from the Most Wonderful Time product medley 1/4″ smaller than your card front (3 7/8″ x 5 5/8″) and then use one of your circle layering dies (one big enough to fit a reindeer in) to cut a circle out of the side of the DSP. Add this to your card front.
Use Stampin Dimensionals (foam pads) to add one of the reindeer stickers to your card in the circle.
Heat emboss your sentiment (from the stamp set included in the product medley) onto Old Olive cardstock with white embossing powder [not sure how to heat emboss, check out my video tutorial HERE]. Then cut your sentiment out using a layering circle die, and use the circle one size bigger to cut some Gold Foil Sheet. Layer the two pieces together then add it to your card with some Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish.
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
