Sketch Sunday – A Little Foxy Birthday Cards

Today’s Sketch Sunday is a little different; it uses a 6″ one sheet wonder template to use just one sheet of A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper to create 4 simple but beautiful Birthday cards.

One sheet wonders are where you create a selection of coordinating, simple cards using just one sheet of designer series paper. In this case I have created 4 cards, cutting my sheet of DSP as per the below layout.

These cards are super simple! You just need to make 4 A6 card blanks by cutting 2 sheets of Smoky Slate Cardstock in half and scoring these down the middle. Stick on your cut up piece of Designer Series Paper as per the picture, and add 3/8″ (1cm) strips of Calypso Coral cardstock. The sentiment I used on these cards is from the Big on Birthdays stamp set in the Spring/Summer catalogue. Stamp this in black ink and cut around it using a trimmer. Cut Calypso Coral cardstock to 1/4″ bigger than your sentiment each way and layer your sentiment onto this. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to stick your sentiments to the cards, then add Calypso Coral Enamel Shapes.

These cards are simple, pretty, and only cost around 35p each!

Why not use the shopping list below to purchase your supplies and make a pile of these cards to pull out when a birthday comes up! They are great for unisex birthdays!
