Hello! And welcome to another Sketch Sunday! Today we’re using the Foxy Friends bundle to make this gorgeous Birthday Card – I do love this little fox – it’s super cute and easy to make from scraps of card!
Today’s sketch comes from Pamela’s World of Scrap. It’s on our Pinterest Board – Card Sketches/Templates – along with around 200 others if you want to have a go!
To create the fox, use the punch to cut the pieces from Calypso Coral Cardstock, and from Whisper White – you’ll need 2 of the little triangles for inside the ears, and 2 of the tail end pieces – one for the end of the tail, and one for under the chin. Layer the pieces up to create the fox, using the picture as a guide. Then, using Basic Black ink, stamp on the legs and the facial features.
To create the Card Blank, take half a piece of Pool Party cardstock and score it down the middle. Then, cut a 1 1/2″ strip of the grey leafy paper from the Foxy Friends paper pack and trim it to fit across your card blank. Cut a circle from the grey woodgrain effect paper with the second largest Stitched Shape circle framelit die.
The sentiment for this card is from the Designer Tee Stamp Set which you can select for free with any order over £45.00 before end of March. Stamp this with Basic Black ink in the top right corner of your card.
Cut your flowers from Calypso Coral Cardstock using the Botanical Builder dies, and the centres from Basic Black. To finish, layer up your card and add a couple of Calypso Coral enamel dots.
There are LOADS of different animals you can make from this set (check out the Punch Art Board on our Pinterest page for inspriration), so why not create lots of different versions of this card, using different animals and colourways? You could even give a set of coordinating cards to someone as a gift!
I hope you enjoyed this project, please see the list below if you wish to shop for any of the products used to make this.
